Small tools that open with something already on screen.

Compress a picture, read a token, fix a contrast ratio, price a loan. Every one runs on your device, keeps your file there, and works before you sign anything.

Favicon generator

ICO, SVG, apple-touch-icon, PWA icons and site.webmanifest as a zip — with the mark checked at true 16px.

OG image generator

Open Graph and Twitter card images at 1200×630, previewed as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Slack and iMessage actually crop and shrink them.

GitHub social preview

The 1280×640 card GitHub shows when a repository is linked — language dot, stars, light or dark — checked against the 1MB upload limit.

Code to image

Syntax-highlighted code as a PNG or SVG — themes, window chrome, line numbers — highlighted in your browser instead of on a server.

Maskable icon

PWA maskable and Android adaptive icons checked under every launcher mask — circle, squircle, teardrop — against both safe zones.

App icon generator

One square image into an Xcode AppIcon.appiconset with a correct Contents.json, plus Android mipmap densities and adaptive layers.

Avatar generator

Deterministic initials and identicon avatars from a name or ID — no API call, batched to a zip, with every avatar's contrast checked.

Screenshot beautifier

Padding, gradient background, rounded corners, shadow and window chrome at real destination sizes — with the UI text checked after scaling.

Placeholder image

Dummy images with the dimensions burned in — PNG, inline SVG, or a data URI with no service to go down.

SVG background

Seeded organic blobs, repeating patterns and grain as SVG, PNG, or a CSS background — the same seed always redraws the same shape.

Made for the interruption

Small tools should not become another big commitment.

Tinapps is a workbench for the jobs between the real jobs: the file that is too large, the two drafts that look identical, the color that almost passes, the timestamp nobody wants to decode, or the payment that needs a second look.

Default workspace

Work, not categories

Follow the job all the way through.

The library is organized by material—text, images, numbers—but the useful paths often cross those boundaries.

  1. 01

    Ship the asset

From a heavy image to the right file

Resize it, compress it to a real byte target, convert the format, then check what metadata is still attached.

  2. 02

    Clean the draft

From rough copy to a confident handoff

Compare revisions, fix capitalization, measure the final length, and share the exact working state instead of a screenshot.

  3. 03

    Settle the numbers

From a monthly payment to the full cost

Model the loan, test extra payments, place the result in a budget, and turn the remaining cash into a dated savings goal.

01

The tool opens before the pitch

No landing-page maze, account wall, or onboarding tour. The working surface is the first thing on every page.

02

Private work stays close

Most inputs are handled in the browser, which is where an unreleased image, private draft, token, or financial scenario belongs.

03

The answer explains itself

Useful diagnostics sit beside the result: the failing line, the WCAG ratio, the interest cost, the byte count, or the assumption that changes the outcome.

The whole workbench

Start with what is in front of you.

Nine collections, one predictable workspace. Open a category when you know the material; search when you only know the problem.

Questions, answered plainly

Before you paste something important.

Are these tools really free?

Yes. There is no account, no trial, no usage limit, and no paid tier holding back a feature. The tools run in your browser, so there is very little to charge for in the first place.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

Almost never. Text, images, tokens, and financial figures are processed by JavaScript in the page and are not transmitted. Each tool states what it does with your input, and you can confirm it by watching the network tab or by disconnecting from the network and carrying on.

How do I find the right tool?

Search the directory on this page by what you want to do — 'compress', 'diff', 'timestamp', 'percentage' — and the matching tools appear under the category they belong to. Press / anywhere on the page to jump into the search field.

Do the tools work on a phone?

Yes. The layout collapses to a single column, the tool list moves behind the menu button, and controls open in a sheet. The only exception is typing practice, which needs a physical keyboard to be meaningful.

Can I share what I made?

Each tool encodes its settings in the URL, so copying the link is enough for a colleague to open the same state. Large inputs such as images and long documents deliberately stay on your device — those links carry the settings and the derived result instead.

Who is this for?

Developers, designers, writers, marketers, and anyone with a small job that does not deserve a desktop app or a sign-up form. The tools go deeper than a search-result calculator, but they still open in a second.

What is slowing you down?

Search the library by the job: compress, compare, convert, calculate.
