Privacy policy
The short version: the files and text you put into a tool are processed by your own browser and are never sent to us. The site itself does use analytics and advertising, and this page says exactly what that means.
Who is responsible
This site, Tinapps (tinapps.com), is operated by Hossein Shams. For any question about this policy or about data held about you, write to hello@tinapps.com.
What you put into a tool
Your files, images, PDFs, video, and text are never uploaded. Every tool on this site reads them inside your browser using the browser’s own APIs. Nothing about their contents reaches our servers, and we could not read them if we wanted to. Closing the tab discards the work.
This means, concretely:
- A PDF you merge or split is assembled on your machine and downloaded from it.
- An image you compress, crop, or strip metadata from never leaves the page.
- Text you paste into a formatter, counter, or converter is not transmitted or logged.
- Numbers you enter into a calculator are not stored, and no result is recorded.
Some tools offer a share link. That link encodes the settings and values you chose to share into the URL. Nothing is added that you did not put there, but treat a share link like any other link: whoever holds it can read what it contains.
Some tools remember your preferences (units, formats, last-used options) in your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device, is readable only by this site in that browser, and is removed when you clear site data.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (property G-HHKLK36RDF) to count page views and understand which tools get used. Google sets cookies and processes a truncated IP address, the page you are on, the referring page, and general device and browser information on our behalf.
It is used to decide which tools deserve more work. It is not used to build a profile of you, it is not sold, and it never receives what you type into a tool.
You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser or a content blocker. The tools work identically either way.
Advertising
Hosting is paid for by advertising served through Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-4333371500204804).
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.com.
- Advertising is confined to the page frame. It is never placed inside a tool’s working surface, and no ad has access to what you put into a tool.
More detail on how Google handles data from sites that use its services is in Google’s partner-sites notice.
Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Advertising and analytics on this site are subject to Google’s EU user consent policy. Where that policy applies — the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — a consent message is shown before any non-essential cookie is set, and you may accept, refuse, or change your choice later through that same message.
Refusing does not restrict any tool on this site. Every tool works identically with all optional cookies declined, because no tool depends on them.
Server logs and hosting
Pages are served through a hosting provider that keeps standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — for security and abuse prevention. These are ordinary web-server records, kept briefly, and are not combined with analytics or advertising data.
Accounts and children
The public tools require no account and collect no name, email address, or payment information. Areas of the site behind a sign-in are private workspaces for the site owner and are not offered to the public.
The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Because the site holds no account and no tool data, there is generally nothing held about you to export or delete beyond the cookies in your own browser, which you can clear at any time. If you are in a jurisdiction granting rights of access, correction, deletion, or objection — the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA as amended by the CPRA among others — you may exercise them by writing to hello@tinapps.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it and the substance of the change is described here. Material changes will not be applied retroactively.
